Terms of Service
Last updated: 7 July 2026
These terms set out how Axial Design ("we", "us"), based in Johnstown, Navan, Co. Meath, Ireland, provides its services. Each project also gets a written quote that describes the specific work, price and timeline — if a quote says something different from these terms, the quote wins.
Quotes and payment
Prices on this website are honest starting points, not fixed offers; every engagement is confirmed with a written quote. Quotes are valid for 30 days. Payment schedules (including any deposit) are set out in each quote, and invoices are payable within 14 days unless agreed otherwise. Work may be paused on accounts with overdue invoices.
Care plans and allowances
Monthly care plans include the time allowances stated on the pricing page. Unused allowance does not roll over to the following month unless agreed in advance. Larger pages, in-depth copywriting, photography, paid advertising spend, premium plugin licences, major redesigns and new feature builds are quoted separately.
Monthly plans run month to month and can be cancelled with 30 days' notice. Yearly plans are billed annually; if you cancel early we'll refund unused whole months at the equivalent monthly rate, less the discount already applied.
Your content and cooperation
Timelines depend on receiving content, feedback and approvals promptly. You're responsible for ensuring any content you supply (text, images, logos) doesn't infringe anyone else's rights, and for the accuracy of information about your own business.
Ownership
Once a project is paid in full, you own the website or system we built for you — design, content and code written specifically for your project. We retain ownership of our pre-existing tools, libraries and know-how, which we licence to you as part of the deliverable. Open-source components and third-party services (hosting, plugins, platforms like Shopify or WordPress) remain subject to their own licences and terms.
We may show completed work in our portfolio and marketing unless you ask us not to — just say the word.
Third-party services
Websites and systems commonly depend on third-party services — hosting, domains, email delivery, payment processors, booking tools, ad platforms. Their fees are paid by you (or re-billed at cost) and their availability and terms are outside our control. We'll always recommend reputable options and set them up properly.
Warranties and liability
We build carefully and fix defects in our own work found within 30 days of launch at no charge. Beyond that, support is provided through care plans or quoted work. To the extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim is limited to the fees you paid us for the work giving rise to the claim, and we're not liable for indirect losses such as lost profits or lost data caused by third-party services.
General
These terms are governed by the laws of Ireland, and the Irish courts have exclusive jurisdiction. If any part of these terms is found unenforceable, the rest still applies. Questions about anything here — just ask.
