Question 1

How much does a website cost?

Accepted Answer

The Starter website is €690 and the Business website is €1,750. Software is priced separately: it starts from €1,500, and most projects land between €1,500 and €5,000. The pricing page shows what each price includes.

Question 2

How long does a website take?

Accepted Answer

A Starter site goes live 4 to 7 days after we have your text and photos. The Business website usually takes a few weeks. Both depend on how quickly the content and your feedback come in. For software, the timeline comes down to the scope, so we'll give you one once we've seen what's involved.

Question 3

Do you only build websites?

Accepted Answer

We also build booking systems, customer portals, admin tools, automations and apps for iPhone and Android, and we built Grafta, our quoting and invoicing app for tradespeople. The custom software page covers how a software project runs.

Question 4

What happens after the site goes live?

Accepted Answer

You can look after the site yourself, or we can on one of three care plans, from €69 a month. For software, support is priced in the same quote as the build. The pricing page lists what each one covers.

Question 5

Do you do local SEO?

Accepted Answer

It's part of how we build every site, so there's no separate fee. Page titles and descriptions are written for the searches your customers make, and the site is set up on Google Search Console so you can see which searches find you. The Business website adds a page for each service and each area you cover, so Google has a page to show when someone searches for the job and the town together. We can't promise you the top spot on Google, and we'd be wary of anyone who does.

Question 6

How does payment work?

Accepted Answer

We take a 50% deposit to start and the balance when the work is finished, before the site goes live. A larger build can be paid in parts as each milestone is reached, if that suits your cash flow better. Invoices are due within 14 days.

Question 7

Can I change things on the site myself?

Accepted Answer

On the Starter site, yes. It runs on WordPress, and we'll show you how to edit the text and swap photos before handing it over. The custom sites we built for Mountain Lodge and Disco Kids both have a content editor, so their own teams can make changes.

Question 8

Can you redesign my existing website?

Accepted Answer

We can, and the first step is going through your current site to see what's worth keeping. When the new one launches, your old page addresses redirect to the new pages, so links in Google results and old bookmarks still work.

Question 9

Do you work with businesses outside Meath?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Axial Design is based in Johnstown, Navan, and projects run over phone and video calls, so where you are doesn't change how the work goes or what it costs.

Question 10

Do I need to know anything technical?

Accepted Answer

No. Tell us how your business works and what you want customers to do on the site, and we'll handle the technical side. If we use a term you don't know, stop us and ask.
