How much does a website cost in Ireland?

It's the first question every business owner asks, and most agencies dodge it. I won't, but I will say this much up front: prices across Ireland vary enormously, and anyone quoting you one magic number is guessing. Here's the range, what we charge, and what makes the figure move.

There's no single 'Irish price'

Websites in Ireland run from a few hundred euro for a basic template to well into five figures for a bespoke platform, so 'what does a website cost in Ireland' has no one universal answer. What I can give you is the answer for the kind of work we do. Our own websites start from €690, and most of our projects land somewhere between €690 and €3,000 depending on what the site needs to do. Larger custom systems are quoted individually. You can see our full pricing any time.

Our starting prices

These are starting points; every project gets its own quote. A Starter WordPress site (from €690) gets a small business online credibly and quickly. A Starter Website (from €750) is custom-designed and built to look the part. A Business Website (from €1,750) is built to generate enquiries, with proper SEO foundations. A Growth Website (from €3,000) adds SEO structure, local landing pages and tracking for businesses investing seriously in leads. An online store starts from €1,950, and custom software (portals, booking platforms, integrations) is quoted per project.

What changes the price

Three things, mostly: how many pages and how much custom design; whether it's a template build or coded from scratch; and what it has to do beyond displaying information (bookings, payments, integrations, automations). A five-page brochure site and a booking platform are completely different jobs. The only sensible way to price one is a short conversation about what the site has to achieve.

How long does it take?

Cost and speed are linked. The quickest builds are the ones where the content already exists: supply finished text and images for a standard site and it can be live in 4–7 days. A custom-designed site takes a few weeks; anything with bespoke systems, longer again. The schedule goes into the written quote, so the date is settled before anything starts. Cheaper isn't always cheaper

You'll see websites advertised for a few hundred euro, and for some businesses a budget template is fine. But a cheap site that's slow, hard to find on Google and awkward to extend can cost more in the long run, in lost enquiries and in rebuilding it later. There are also pay-monthly options worth understanding before you sign. Weigh the price against what the site should bring back in enquiries.

So what should you budget?

As a rough guide to our own work: a credible, findable small-business site is usually €690–€1,750. If you're actively chasing leads and growth online, €1,750–€3,000+. A full system is a custom quote, and often replaces manual work that's costing you more. Your situation may sit outside those brackets, so the quickest way to find out is a free quote. You'll get a clear figure for exactly what you need, with no obligation.
